Aug. 5th,2011-- 9 days before my due date

I complained enough to Dr. Baker that I had had enough. I was set to go into the hospital to start to thin my cervix on Sunday Aug. 7th at 5:30pm. PLAN CHANGE: The date was Friday Aug. 5th, 2011. Chad's brother Andy had just gotten into town from MD. Chad's family was set to go to the annual float trip at Uncle Frank's cabin in Salmon. Of course Chad and I weren't going because of how close it was to my due date. Having the baby on the Salmon river didn't sound like my kind of fun. Before they left we decided to have dinner together. Burger King it was! We all got together at our house to eat and chat before they left. The fam left around 7:30ish, Chad and I watched some Tv, played an intense game of soccer on the Wii (I blame this game of soccer) and then we got ready for bed.

Chad had already layed down and started to doze off. I was finishing my night time routine and had just layed down when.......(I think to myself) "uh, what was that? that didn't really feel/sound right. Guess I better go check." As I get up to walk just across the hall to the bathroom, I feel, well, like I had lost a little control of my bladder. (My thoughts resume) "Could this really be happening? I can't hold my bladder? Or......could that sound really be what I'm thinking? (yes, I heard a strange sound when it happened)" The funny thing about this is that I had just gone to the dr. that morning and asked Dr. Baker what would happen if my water broke. His words: "It's very rare that your water will break on its own, but if it does, you'll know it." Ok Doc! So, by this time, I had figured out that what had happened was my water had broke. It's now 10:50ish p.m. I call out to Chad from the bathroom. Me: "Uh Chad?" Chad: "Yeah" Me: "My water just broke." Chad: "Are you serious?" Me: (chuckle) "Um yeah!" Chad: (panic) "ok, so what do we do?" Me: (another chuckle) "I don't know!!!!!"
